I am not sure where to start on my SNAP experience. This was my first year going and as much as I was excited, I was pretty scared meeting so many new people. My drive there on the day took about 4 hours, it wasn’t until my sat-nav said I was 10 minutes away where the nerves kicked in. I pulled into the car park to see a group of people smiling and waving with signs which was great. I got out of the car to be welcomed by everyone so straight away I was at ease. Within the first hour, I’d be met about 30 people and 2 or 3 new people.

The whole week is a bit of a blur but one of the main things I got from SNAP was the community. I’d seen people speak about it online and I didn’t think it could be quite like they said but I was wrong. I don’t think I have ever been around so many friendly, welcoming and talented people. Each speaker was incredibly inspiring and I got something from each and every one of them. I also got stay in a tree house for a week which was a pretty cool experience along with a disco party night, pool party and a beach trip... I met some friends for life and am now inspired more than ever. What a week... Can’t wait for next year!!
