I’ve known Will and Sarah for years and was absolutely over the moon when they asked me to photograph their engagement shoot. I couldn’t wait. Straight away Sarah told me the sort of thing they were after and it was the sort of shoot I had wanted to do for a while. We decided on a date and a location which would be perfect for when the sun was setting to get that golden light. They asked if they could bring their dog Rupert along and I couldn’t have said yes quick enough - what a gorgeous dog!!
We set out to the location and the sun was perfect, within the next hour the sun would be slowly setting over the hills in the countryside over Basingstoke. I started off by doing some far away shots to get them use to the camera and let Rupert run around for a bit so he would sit nicely in the photos. I could tell already the photos were going to be stunning, the connection between these guys was great. We walked all around the area making the most of the light and natural scenery. Most importantly it was relaxed, fun, we all had a laugh and I got some great photos.
Will and Sarah were so happy with their photos they asked me to photograph their wedding in 2020 at Farnham castle in Surrey. I can’t wait to capture your day and memories that will last a lifetime.
